I thought I’d add to the list- about a month ago my 97 with 62,000 miles started making terrible noises under the cam cover. I took it to the dealer and was told one of the cam sprockets was almost totally loose. The repair would have been $2700 but luckily I bought my car used with an extended warranty. I'd never checked out the site until now, so I thought mine was an isolated case but I guess not. I'm sorry if this is the wrong way to communicate my problems but I didn't see any direct links to the cam problem topic. And I wanted to make sure I added to the list.
