Patti & Stephen Herrage - Cam Failure # 387/388

new 4/19/2004

Larry, I have two 1997 SHO's, both were purchased with cam failures. My wife's car had 73,802 miles on it when the cam failed. The damage was extensive, the valve head broke off and in-bedded it the piston and actually cracked the piston. I have pictures of this if needed. The ser# is as follows: 1FALP54NXVA107592. I found my SHO when looking for parts for her car. My 1997 SHO had 132,524 miles on it when the rear cam failed. The ser# is 1FALP54N5VA275186. Here is our contact info if you need any other info to join the class action suit.
