Michael Rzeppa - Cam Failure

new 11/19/02, updated 3/11/03

Tim,
I have a 97' SHO and back in January of this year this exact problem happened to me. A light tapping/ticking noise started in the engine, I thought maybe I should start having the oil changed every 2500 miles vs. 3000. I am not a car junky nor do I claim to anything about cars or engines but the one thing I can say is that I always wanted a SHO and when I finally got one, this happens. I racked up $7,000 PUTTING A NEW ENGINE IN IT THAT HAS 60,000 miles on it. Theoretically, this could happen again. What can I do to join or assist with any class action lawsuit or whatever angry SHO owners are doing? Here is my info.

I appreciate any response.

I called Michael, his car had about 65k when he noticed a noise but no one was able to diagnoses the problem. Engine failed at approximately 71k.
