My name is Larry Jessee. I stumbled on to your site, and I want to be included in the class action suit. I have the same problem as every one else. I was two day's away from ordering a used engine with 43,000 miles. I am very happy that you had information on this. It now will sit in my garage pending on what happens with the suit. For sale is this 1997 Ford SHO. It has the cam problem. As far as I know it is only the back cam that has had the timing sprocket move. I have spent over 1000.00 dollars finding out about the cam problem. The motor has been tore down to the heads. All parts are in separate bags and marked in the trunk. The second mechanic shop did that for me. It has been sitting for at least 5 years,maybe six. It does have some body damage as the pictures show. Mostly from a hail storm we had last year. Of course we cancelled insurance since it was sitting. I have been waiting on a class action suit which will probably never come. It's got to go. Everything worked great before the engine messed up. All glass is good. Front tires were brand new just before the mishap. If your looking at sho's you know what you see. What you see is what you get. The transmission worked great with no problems at all. It has the heated side mirrirs also. I really loved this car,it was so powerful. I did not abuse the car what so ever. Wish Ford would own up to the mistake!!! My key would not open the trunk for some reason,but I'm sure buyer will find a way. I will try it again and if it works I will revise the ad. This is cash or I will accept paypal. Buyer will have to arrange way to get it to it's new home. Payment due within 7 days at auction end. Serious bidders only. I am not a mechanic and this might not be too much trouble for the right person to get it on the road again or part out thereselves. Please remember what you see is what you get.
