Vehicle Description

1996 Ford Taurus SHO V8. Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise power/heated side mirrors, leather interior, premium JBL stereo system, 6-disc cd changer, climate control, digital thermometer, dual power lumbar, power antenna, keyless entry, power moonroof, fold down armrest built into back seat. Has a K & N air filter. Still has the SHO floor mats. The only problem with this car is that Cylinders 5, 6, 8 are reading a misfire. Very nice car in excellent condition.

5,6,8.....did you miss the 7 or is it really missing on those 3 and not on all
4, these cars have been known to have issues with the camshaft that will
typically kill 4 cylinders not just 3. Does it run, idle, and drive ok ? Just
want to be sure about the issues before I get in too deep on the bidding.
Response:
It is really missing on those three. Had a new camshaft put
in, think it might have been put in wrong. I think it may have a bent valve
and it will not crank.
Um....yeah, ok.
So it doesn't run and they failed to
mention that in the listing......glad I didn't bid any higher.

Someone else got this response from them today......
"It was not making any abnormal noises. tried to start it for
someone and it
would not crank. Backfired and wouldn't turn over anymore."
If this was after the previously mentioned cam
replacement, it sounds to me like it could be a double failure car......

I had also emailed the seller about maybe misfiring on all four coils.
Heres the response I got:
"It was not making any abnormal noises. tried to start it for someone and it
would not crank. Backfired and wouldn't turn over anymore."
I spend way to much time on eBay!
