your looking at a very nice 1996 taurus sho. this car has been adult owned since new.i've owned it for the past 4 years. it's overall better condition than most cars with age and mileage. i would take off out of state if i needed to with it. the only reason i'm selling is because i do'nt use it anymore. been sitting in my garage most of the summer. i know alot of people are scared of these cars that know about the main problem with them,..... cam gears stripping!!! well this ones been fixed now for the past 4 years and 30,000 miles. i bought the car with stripped gears and fixed at the ford garage where i work. i've done many of these under warrenty and have worked for ford for 15 years. it's had one new cam and all 4 gears welded so they won't strip. this car has had the best of care since i've owned it. all the flushes done within the last 20,000 miles, newer alt , ball joints,tuned up 15,000 ago with platinum plugs, all the brakes 5,000 miles ago. {although they pulsate a little from sitting,... surface rust}.it does have a few blemishes and small door dings but not very noticable. new tires 10,000 miles ago and a four wheel alignment. this car is very tight, no clunks or rattles anb everything works-- including the power antenna and 6 disc cd player in trunk. this car has been used mostly on the highway. previous owner was a traveling busness man and i've used it mostly two lane highways and express highways. this car has been stored winters for the past 4 years and has seen no dirt roads. i will fix the brakes to highest bidder over the reserve price. this is a very nice car ..so please only bid if your serious. thanks!!
