THIS IS A 1996 SHO FORD TAURUS, IT HAS 91,000 MILES ON IT. IT HAS JUMPED TIME,I TOOK IT TO A FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY SAID ,THEY DONT THINK THAT IT DAMAGED THE HEADS,BUT JUST JUMPED TIME, IT NEEDS SOME TIMING GEAR REPAIR. I DID ALL THE PRICE CHECKS IN MY AREA AND IT WILL COST ABOUT 5 TO 600 DOLLARS TO REPLACE THE TIMING GEAR AND TO HAVE BOTH HEADS REBUILT,IF THE HEADS ARE EVEN BAD,THAT IS JUST PARTS COST,THE CAR WILL START AND RUN ,BUT SOUNDS LIKE IT IS ONLY RUNNING ON FOUR CYLINDERS.THE CAR OTHER WISE IS IN GREAT SHAPE,FULLY LOADED,EVERYTHING WORKS.THE CAR BASICALLY LOOKS NEW INSIDE AND OUT.

Called and left message, details pending (VIN #) - Buford

An update, the guy on ebay stated he just bought it for $1500 because the previous owner told him it jumped time and it'd be $600 tops to fix it. After buying and having 2 stealers look at it he is trying to recoup costs. He refuses to say anything about the cam failure problem and he is reluctant to give up a VIN. Hopefully I can get that off him soon.
