Larry, I have a 1997 Taurus SHO with 110,000 miles. Motor is making a loud ticking noise and from what I have read it's a cam problem. The car is in nice shape but not worth the cost of replacing the motor. It's been sitting in my garage for over a year. Before I haul it to the junk yard is there any new progress being made with Ford on this cam issue?
