Postcards From The Edge - SHOklahoma 2001 - Tuesday

I still cannot get over the number of SHO's here! The entire first two floors of the parking garage has nothing but SHO's in every stall, and the remaining floors have SHO's as well. Impressive to say at the very least. The last SHO was parked next to a GTP near the roof, interesting...There are some very serious SHO's here too. Parked next to me was a Gen2 with a Supercharger and NOS driven by a very unassuming young computer geek looking guy. The engine compartment was a work of art. Got video but forgot to take a digital pic of it. Two cars over, some tall, late 50ish British accented dude had a sort of rough looking but all business Gen2 also with a blower. Damn it sounded sweet! The shear number of different colors (some even 2 color), mod levels and wheels, just very overwhelming! I am truly impressed by the level of care and time some of these people have put into the machines, I was embarrassed parking mine in the garage with some of them. I can't get over how good some of the these cars paint jobs look! Unfortunately I had to leave last night to work today, but I am going back tonight for the dinner and then playing hooky tomorrow so I can be at Hallet. Woohoo!

Met Kenny (might need some Ritalin for him) K, Kirk (Pirate in a past life?) D, Bob Fijal (Mr. AutoZone but still buys from O'Reily's), Big dog (sure is!) and several others. Nice to get faces with those names. Need to find out more about Shannon and Marks (I think?) BIG ticket and how "In the rocking chair" Kirk got out of it.
