I am the owner of a 97 Taurus SHO. Two months ago I began noticing a ticking noise coming from the motor. Two weeks after i first heard the tick, the motor failed, and just stopped. I then had it towed into the dealership and they diagnosed internal failure, and suggested that a new motor would be in need. At this point, I am currently searching for a motor within my budget, and so far have been unsuccessful, therefore the car has been sitting. I have a lien on the car of 5,000$.
