new 7/9/02
I have a 97 SHO with 84000mi that just started to tick today. It was idling and I heard a slight tick that wasn't there the day before so I popped the hood and sure enough it was coming from the valve cover. Oil was changed w/ Mobil 1 every 2k mi for the past 30k+ mi and I've put 500mi on it since Nov. of last year. The cams are being welded at work because I can do it for nothing and I'm selling the car so I don't want to put any money into it. Thought I'd let you know so you can chalk another failure up.
